Comfy & Cute in the Classroom

What do you wear when it feels like winter is never ending, and you’ve every pair of leggings in your closet? Believe it or not, one of my favorite looks in the winter is a dress! I love dresses because of how loose and unrestricting they are. Women’s clothing always tends to be tight; so dresses offer a nice alternative to being forced into jeans all winter. Sundress season is typically reserved for Summer, but I have a found few cute ways to rock dresses in the chilly weather. Today, I wore a grey, and wool, turtleneck sweater dress from Heart and Soul. I was lucky to find this dress on sale at TJ Maxx! Unfortunately, that means its no longer online for purchase but there are several dresses very similar I have linked further down. The dress is extremely cute, easy layer, and extremely warm. I layered my look with a long, denim coat from Forever 21. Now, in the winter time it is important to have minimal exposed skin, so I also wore a pair of sheer stockings paired with black socks and boots from Nordstrom. I accessoried my look with my favorite Alex and Ani Bracelets, an Anne Klein watch, and a classic pair of pearls; add my trusty NorthFace Backpack and my look was complete. I was so comfortable throughout the day, and because of my layers wasn’t too cold outside or too warm inside. It really was a great outfit for winter. Go look at outfit, and shop my look below!
