New Year, New Post: Brunch in Style pt.2
Surprise, Surprise, another blog post about Brunch. What can I say? I am a creature of habit, and nothing makes me happier then putting on my Sunday best and going to lovely meal paired with bottomless mimosas. This outfit is from my 21st Birthday weekend when I traveled down to Atlanta to celebrate. I stopped by my favorite brunch restaurant, Negril Village, to enjoy the live band, amazing food and unforgettable atmosphere. Ofcourse, I enjoyed myself immensely dining on the oxtail entree, and drinking their Caribbean mimosas. Additionally, this restaurant is known for the occasional celebrity sighting, and I bumped into one of my favorite actresses at the moment, Yvonne Orji! I tried to avoid staring at her while we all enjoyed our food, but right before she left I quickly spoke to her about my love for Insecure, and how amazing her outfit was! She was very kind, and generous with her time; which I am very appreciative for! After, the food and celebrity conversation, it was time for photos! It was an all white attire for my birthday brunch. I wanted a classic, and mature outfit, that was still flirty, and vibrant! My look was simple, yet extremely stylish. I wore a tight, white, bell-sleeved, cold shoulder dress from Pretty Little Thing. I added a pop of color with a pair of golden yellow shoes I found in Plato's Closet for 10 bucks! From some research, I found that the shoes come from a wholesale shop, Cape Robbin, but aren't currently being manufactured anymore. I did find cute alternatives to my shoes which I will link below. The outfit was complete with a slick bun, red lip, and pearl earrings! I loved the way I looked and even better, the way I felt on my birthday. Remember when picking out your birthday outfit to ALWAYS wear what you feel most comfortable in! Read below for outfit details, and shopping links.
