Post-Season NBA Best Dressed Baller
Now, I know what you are thinking... what happened to March AND April's Best Dressed Baller? Well when you are working your first NBA Season, and Post-Season sometimes blogging takes a back seat. With that being said, I have found a few honorable mentions from the last two months that deserve a quick feature!
Mike Scott, forward for the 76ers absolutely dominated March, and the whole season with his amazing collection of custom hockey jerseys! A sport, that doesn't have the largest black fan base; it is great to see Scott bring some swag to the hockey world! He was seen sporting a San Jose Sharks Jersey, customed with "daddy shark" on the back. An adorable tribute to his family. See below.
April's best-dressed could also be most-improved. Leaving the rookie antics behind, Kyle Kuzma has begun to blossom in his fashion. Being more adventourous usually yields solid results. Kuz's suit swag was on full display in April; big step up from the palm tree cardigan in March. See above.
Finally, this post season I have seem some amazing looks. A few of my favorites coming from Serge Ibaka, Chris Paul, and James Harden. Similar to his on court performance, Portland Trailblazer's, Damian Lillard off-court style has been on fire post-season. Playing with patterns and plaid he had perfected the suit and sneaker combo. Pulling off a chic, but effortlessly casual look.
Two things to keep in mind if you are going to try and recreate the suit and sneaker look.
1.) Taper your suit pants! Make sure those pants look like they were stitched just for you.
2.) Clean your shoes. In each of these looks Dame has on a CRISPY pair of white sneakers; making his gym shoes look chic enough to match the 3-piece suit.
